Recycled Aggregates

In a typical year, Britain needs around 205 million tonnes of aggregate: some four tonnes for every man, woman and child in the country.

Around 90% of all aggregates are used by the construction industry. Dow On Site & Dow Waste Management are contributing to a very important part of this market – by reducing demand on primary aggregates, we are helping the industry to become more sustainable.

With the use of non-renewable mineral resources in the construction of roads, car-parks, building structures, concrete and masonry, mixed inerts from new construction and demolition works are crushed and screened to produce a comprehensive range of recycled products:

  • Crushed brick/concrete
  • 25 mm down brick/concrete
  • 50mm down brick/concrete
  • 50-150mm clean brick/concrete
  • Clean hardcore
  • Blended soil (top soil)
  • Screened soil (reclaimed)
